Today with the execution of a single project spread across multiple geographic regions with different time zones, the project teams both onsite and offshore, both linked by global network. The coordination between both these teams will have to be constant to ensure that there are no communication gaps that can cause delay in delivering the project milestones.

Paradigm Project Status Tracking Tool

Paradigm has developed a Project Tracking Tool (the “Tool”) to address the challenges of the above process. 

• Captures, manages and communicates documents, tasks, issues and changes from emergence to resolution
• Establishes priorities, assigns ownerships, manages and tracks issues from emergence to resolution.
• Traces all code changes.
• Tracks project progress by team, management and client.

Other Tools used for the communication are VoIP phones, Instant Messengers and email.

Paradigm engagements are typically delivered by a global team with 15 to 20 percent of the team members located at client site and the rest of the team located at our offshore development centers. The onsite team interacts with the client daily to define requirements, review prototypes and manage scope changes.   The offshore team ensures quality execution.

The Status Tracker tool (STATRAC) was developed by Paradigm to monitor and track the project status of its; internal clients. Over the years with many features built-in, STATRAC is a very comprehensive product today.  Built on Microsoft platform using .Net and MS SQL, it has the flexibility to be easily configured to suit any type of project.
